how long can my dads stuff stay at my house?

Question Details: my dad moved on the first of the month. he said he had a new place to live, but he didn't. he is off of the new lease now, but is trying to keep his stuff in my house. there has been bad blood between me and him for a while and cops called on him as well. but i need to know if there is a minimum amount of time he can keep his stuff in my house after he willingly moved out.

There is no minimum amount of time to move his stuff.  He is supposed to take it with him.  Legally, you must evict him through Court proceedings to move his stuff out of your home.  Please call me if you would like my assistance.  John R. Tatone 586-868-5100
