How far will a restraining order go for protection in MN
If i have a ex girl friend that will not leave me alone. says will contact my employer to try to get me fired Will call family members to try to ruin me. Sends me msgs of all family members she has looked up that she is going to contact. Will restraining order only keep her from me and my home and she can get away with this rather than leaving me alone?

The restraining order also covers indirect contact and would prevent her from harassing you by contacting third parties as well.  If there have been any threats of physical harm, then an order for protection can be obtained.  If it is just unwanted contact and not leaving you alone, then a harassment restraining order is appropriate.  I would be happy to assist you.  Robert A.
