DUI / DWI Law Answers

Your brother needs an attorney for this case.  He is facing a DUI with enhanced penalties for the child endangerment; additionally, he is facing the 2 separate counts of child endangerment.  Also, you didn't state whether or not this was his first offense; this will also affect the harshness of the penalty imposed.

What he needs to do is to get an attorney that specializes in these type case.  Make sure it is one who also pratices in the area of where all of this happened; they will have local contacts with the court which can be invaluable.  Since DUI is can be a highly technical area of the law and quite fact specific, his lawyer may be able to get the charges dismissed, successfully fight them, or at least get them reduced.

Frankly, the sooner he gets legal counsel the better.
