How do I get out of a land contract on my home without getting sued?

your rights depend on the language in the contract so it is hard to tell without reading it.  you promised to pay a certain amount of money for the real estate, so if you default , the seller has a right to expect that amount from you.  of course a bankruptcy would get rid of this debt and any others as  well
