Question Details: I live in New Jersey, when I was 15 an older man got sent to jail for speaking to me in sexual ways. I am now 18 and would like to start talking to him again. He got out of jail last year but there is still a no contact clause against him seeing me. I was wondering if I need a lawyer to get it removed? Do I need my parents approval to get it removed? Can it actually in fact be removed? His one year parol is over November 2nd. Will the clause be automatically removed after that date? Thank You
The answer to your question is involved and not suitable for this format. Contact me at either (732)932-7226 (office) or (732)710-0004 (cell).

First do not do anything or make any poor choices that would further complicate your life or any one elses. The lawyer answer is do not break any laws or cause anyone to do so. I would suggest that you contact a qualified counselor (and/or psychologist) and discuss this issue.

Are you a lawyer?
