Question Details: i brought some curry chicken and other items from my local grocery store.i went home to prepare my meal fed my family and then i ate. as i was eating i began to choked. i was able to cough up. it was find to be a small mental object that loooked like it comes from when the chicken gets tagged. i was wondering would i have a case
I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. The company that left the metal in the container is clearly negligent. However, one of the elements you need to prove is damages. If you have no real damages then you do not have much of a case. While you may be able to write a letter (from a lawyer) demanding money, you may not get enough money to make this worth while. Nevertheless, you are within your rights to sue.
