Question: Divorce, Marriage, Alimony - California

Asked on 10/7/2009
How can a spouse be served divorce papers when she/he decided to move to another state?
They had both lived in California for most of their lives. The husband filed for a divorce in California but she moved to Arizona. Due to the difference of states, is there something different needed to be made to serve her with the divorce papers?

YOu can serve papers to an out of state spouse by certified mail.  You can also do personal service.  If you need an attorney I offer a free consultation.
