Question Details: Due to a fire we had to let 40 employees go. When we rebuild and rehire these EEs back are we required to enroll them back into our health insuance plan before our 90 day probation period is up?
If they were actually laid off or otherwise let go, then normally not. The exceptions would be if your companies own document policies, or the terms of your health plan, would "grandfather "in previously employed staff as having already met their 90 waiting period. Check your company policies and insurance policy.
