Do I need to register a DBA before I can get insured for my business?
Question Details:
I started a business - handyman multi-service. I have not registered my DBA as of yet. I am in need of basic liability insurance in order to perform a service. Can I get the insurance I need before I file for my DBA?

Getting a DBA takes one day. Call a lawyer to do this. It is a couple of hundred dollars, including the filing fee. This should not be an impediment.
