Have you tried to do a mortgage modification? a mortgage modification is where the bank works with you to reduce the interest rate to allow you to get back on track with payments. I suggest that you ask the bank whether this is a feasible alternative to a foreclosure sale of the property. I also suggest contacting a lawyer to review the court papers and try to see if there is anything you can do to save the property. most lawyers will talk to you the first time for free.
