Fla is charging my son 1000.00,classes,probaion etc. for a DUI e received at age 15. He is now23. Can they do his?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. the short answer is yes. the state has a statute that outlines the penalties for DWI. i am not sure what he was doing drving at 15 years old, but i would suggest that you should have had a lawyer representing him. DUI is taken very seriously and this penalty is not out of proportion and is similar to the penalty in CT.
