Fired one day by an employee, laid off the next day by employer. Do I have a case?

Question Details: I filed unemployment after lay off boss fought me and won. He put me back to work after lay off after he told me I was lazy and did not benefit his company any. Very hostile work environment. Unemployment office sent letter today and nothing was even recorded right on the paper. Should I appeal their decision or just let it be?

Often an unemployment denial can be reversed on appeal, so it's probably worthwhile to appeal the decision.  Firing an employee because they are "lazy" may be considered a very subjective judgment; usually unemployment is denied because the person broke an employment rule or did something  harmful to the company or another employee.  If you appeal, it might be worthwhile to have an attorney handle the appeal for you; you have a better chance of reversal.
