Question: Real Estate - Arkansas

Asked on 10/14/2009
Eviction Notice
While jointly owning a business, of which I am no longer a partner, my partner and I built an office on a piece of property. My name is on the title to the land. My former associate is living in said office, rent free, due to a verbal agreement we had concerning another property venture. In that agreement he was able to live on this property until the other property sold, but he does not have the other property listed, and is not making any other effort to sale it. Can I evict him from the property he is living on due to breach of contract? Please let me know. Thank you.

AttorneyPages has verified that this person is an attorney.

Probabably, and he is probably in violation of city code as well (using commercial property as a residence).  Let me know if I can be of assistance.
