How do I get an emergency order giving me custody of my child?

Question Details:

My wife has left the house with my 2 year old child without my consent. I would like to file an emergency order to bring the child back. What is the likelihood that the court will grant such if I suspect that the child may not be fed properly?

Anytime you can prove to the court that a lack of action may result in immediate and irreparable harm you can file an Order to Show Cause, which is how you get an "emergency order" fromteh court.

If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
