DUI FINES
Question Details: I recently was convicted of a DUI in CA. i was given fines totaling near $2000 is there a way to get that reduced somehow. Thank You

As for getting your fines reduced, it will be nearly impossible. You will need to prove that paying these fines is an undue hardship. The court uses a very strict standard and unless you are virtually impoverished you will be expected to pay. However, you should be aware that you can work out payment arrangements.
