Dog bites another dog at my residence
Question Details:
An acquaintance brought her dog to the house uninvited and aware of the two dogs living at the residence. My dog attacked her dog on the front porch. I offered to pay half the bill; she wants more.
If your dog attacked her dog, it is your liability--you should pay the full bill. Even if her dog was "uninvited," if you allowed her to bring the dog--i.e. you didn't send her and the dog away--then you essentially accepted responsibility for anything your dog did.
