DOES THE PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE OF AN ESTATE HAVE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATIONS TO HEIRS OF THE ESTATE

The personal representative is working on behalf of the heirs of the estate.   He has a duty to communicate with them and let them know what he is doing at all times.   About the only thing I can think of that they are not entitled to see would be something involving attorney-client priviledge.  Otherwise, they are entitled to copies of all pleadings, all accountings, contracts, checks, bank statements, everything.
