Does my mother's will have to be probated? We live in Louisville, KY.
Question Details: My mom died. Her will leaves her house and car to me (her daughter). I lived with my mother for three years to take care of her. She had cancer. I am on the deed to the house with her and on her checking account (joint). The checking account is under $200.00 and there is no savings or other financial things. My brother is in the will. He has been left personal things of my father (war medals, tools, equipment, Japanese sword, jewelry).
