Yes, generally speaking all states require that the executor of the Will notify the beneficiaries under the Will - and usually those that would inherit should there have been no Will - to rceive notice of the intent to offer the Will for probate: file the estate proceeding.  A Will is a public record and can be viewed once filed.  Good luck.
