Does Georgia recognize Florida DUI Schools
Question Details: Received a DUI in Georgia but reside in Florida. Will Georgia accept DUI School completion if taken in Florida?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. You need to clear this with the GA probation. If GA will let you do the classes in FL then great. However, GA may not let you do the GA classes in FL since the DWI took place in GA. Nevertheless, I have had success permitting my clients to do classes in the state they reside. I suggest that you have a meeting with probation and see what they can do.
