Does a felony for theft violate the terms of naturalization?
Question Details:
My 32 year old boyfriend was born in another country but his parents received us naturalization and so did he as a child. He has recently been convicted of a felony for theft and now cannot find his only form of ID, his license. Can he be deported because of this felony?
IF he is a US citizen, he can apply for a new proof of his naturalization/citizenship from the USCIS, if he needs to provide proof of his status to the authorities to avoid any type of deportation/removal for the conviction.
