For the most part, all contracts are treated the same and they only need to be signed somewhere. Not at the end. You can sign in the margin. Initials are superfluous. They are not necessary. People ask for intials so that if someone later claims that they were not given "that page" or that "pages were changed" that it can be proven otherwise with an initial. So initials are a good idea, but not necessary for any contract to be valid.
