Does a company have to honor a price they post on-line or can they ask for a return after sending you the product?
Question Details: I ordered a TV on-line and I was charged and it was shipped fine. A day after receiving the TV the company sent me an e-mail wanting to schedule a pick up because the product was priced wrong. the company forced a refund into my Pay-pal account that I did not ask for. Do I have to return the TV or should the company honor the price that was stated?
You purchased it. This represents an offer, acceptance and consideration, all of the elements of an enforceable contract. Since money was exchanged and the product was delivered, you can tell the company to take a flying leap and that what they did was illegal by attempting to breach or undue an already completed contract. Contact Paypal and the online provider of this business and file a complaint. Keep the television. Enjoy.
