Does a case dismissed with prejudice appear on a background check?
Question Details: I was never booked into jail and have never been arrested before, could they even associate it to me just by name?

If the case was dismissed with prejudice, then that means that the prosecutor can not refile the criminal charges. However, dismissals may still show up on a public background check in the form of you being charged with a particular crime, but it should state that the original charge was dismissed.
