Must I submit to a lie detector test?

Do I have to take a lie detector test because of an arson? Someone set my building on fire twice and we're being singled out because we live on first floor.What I'm asking is it mandatory that I take this test or can I refuse? Idon't think that its right their asking just us out of a 10 unit building? Should I speak with a criminal defense attorney? Inn in York County, ME.

Innocent though you may be, you could unknowingly say something that would incriminate yourself regarding the crime.
