I am not admitted in Washington or Nevada.  But generally in any state you can not be married to two people at the same time.  If he was legally married in Nevada when you were married in Washington you are not married.  BUT, there is a marriage license on file for you too, correct?  Seek help on taking whatever steps you need to clear the "marriage" from the records.  An attorney in your area can help with this.  Good luck.

You marriage never really occured.  Your husband could not marry you while he was still married to his first wife.  So, your own marriage didn't happen.  If you want, you can just walk out and not be liable for any of his debt.  HOWEVER, under our new Domestic Partnership law, you have been builiding an interest in "Partnership Property" - there may be something in your new estate that you'd like to have declared to be yours and no his.  Think about that, call us if you need any help.  Thanks, John Compatore 206-285-6881.
