Do I have a wrongful death case?

Question Details: Mother had an accident in her doctors office under went several surguries and died. Father (85 yrs old) stayed beside and became sick and died all comes from the stress he went through watching my mother. I have an attorney taking the case for neglect on doctors office, but says doesn't think I have a case with my father. I TOTALLY disagree his death is absolutely assicated with my mothers death. I feel current lawyer just wants the easy case.

Neither of theses cas4es seems easy. Your father's case has some serious evidentiary issues not least of which is proximate cause which has a very specific meaning in he law. If your main claim is that your father died from stress related to seeing your mother pass away, I don't think the courts will allow such a matter to go forward.
