Assuming he is either found guilty or pleads guilty and depending on the "actual charge"Here are some factors ;; Criminal history this includes prior municipal NON Traffic offences.  Whether or not some one was injured.  It is not unusual that a person would receive anything from probation and a small fine /with court costs.  to a larger fine with jail time up to 364 days and probation.  In 32 years have seen many different results.  In fact, the very least would have been an outright dismissal,  holding of the charges for up to 6 months and if there are no more incidents that matter ends up being administratively dismissed , all the eay up to 364 days in jail. It is not unusal for the police and proscecutor to insist on some sentencing that will set an example to deter further problems at bars and clubs.
