Delay in calling 911
Question Details: My brother died of an accidental overdose. The person who gave him the meds knew that he was in distress but delayed calling 911 by 4 hours. This person has given 4 different stories regarding how my brother got meds. Can they be charged for wrongful death?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. i would have to know more details about the time and circumstances, but based on what you said about the different stories there certainly seems like there could be some liability. however, the question is what you think that you can collect from the guy. if the guy has no money there is nothing you will collect. i sugest you determine what money you can collect and see a lawyer to determine how you can go about finding this out (i.e. Prejudgment remedy).
