Delaware speeding ticket for ny resident

Question Details: I recently got a speeding ticket in Delaware and I have a NY licence. I wanted to know if the points transfer and if insurance would know about it and be raised? And what could be done about it. Thanx !!

The points will probably not transfer, but NY will treat it as a speeding conviction on your NY license once they pick up on it.  NY will attach 3 points to your license and, if you receive 2 more speeding convictions within 18 months,  your license will be revoked.

Your insurance company will probably not pick up on the conviction unless you change companies or they run a periodic check on your driver's abstract.
