Question Details: I just found out about a statute in Florida that prohibits moving more than 50 miles away without permission..If this was violated how do I pursue this, even if it happened over a year ago.

If the move happened over a year ago courts will most likely view that as having permission since you did not go to court a year ago. Ignorance of the law is not a defense. If you are determined to go to court, however, you could file a motion to show cause. Also check with an attorney in Florida for more possible methods.
