Charged with two Class-A misdemeanors, questions
Question Details: Hello, I was charged with 2 class A misdemeanors, resisting arrest and battery. This happened on a night out at a night club. Unfortunately I do not remember what I did, or what happened. This occurred in Chicago, IL. Any thoughts as far as the charges I'm facing, possible consequence, and solutions/routes I should take? Thank you.
Each case carries a possible 364 days in jail and a fine of up to $2500. Depending on the facts, this in not a likely outcome. You are more likely to be offered some type of supervision on the battery, but the resisting charge is one that is not eligible for supervision.
