I am 17 years-old and I want to move out of my mom's house and into a friend's mother's house. They would love to have me there and will pay for everything but my mom will not let me. Can I anyway?

Your parents have legally custody of you until you turn 18 and can decide where you live unless you are emancipated.   To become emancipated, you would file papers in the circuit court and ask a judge to rule that you are no longer under any legal authority of your parents and no longer treated like a minor.  If a judge grants you that right, you can legally make your own decisions.  However, before you file a lawsuit I encourage you to talk this over with perhaps your mom and a trusted family friend or other person you both respect.
