Wrongful Death - Accidental Death Law Answers

Although I do not practice law in the State of Illinois, here are my initial impressions.  The general rule is that the plaintiff in any wrongful death claim is the fiduciary/executor of the decedent's estate.  Therefore, if you are the executor of your entire family's estate, then you could potentially bring a wrongful death action on behalf of all of these decedents.  Moreover, if there are several executors, then they could potentially be co-plaintiffs in the same action.  In any event, I suggest that you set up a free consultation with a local personal injury attorney to discuss this claim in greater detail.  Good luck.
