can you have two phone lines in your house while on House arrest one for the monitoring equipment and one for my Internet service
Question Details: iam going on house arrest next month and i know iam not allowed to have any features on my phone so i want to add another phone line just for the monitoring equipment so that i can still keep Internet service it will be on its own line and have its own phone number and separate phone bill are you allowed to do this?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. I would need to see the probation and house arrest orders. I suggest that you ask the probation officer in charge as to whether the extra line is an issue. you do not want to be sneaky here as you can be sent back to jail. If you have a lawyer, have your lawyer make a call to find this out for you.
