can you have a case dismissed 5 years after you were found guilty, with no other relating charges since then.
I have 2 misdemeanors and 1 mm, i would like to petition the court to dismiss one of the misdemeanors 5 years after it occured so i can gain entry into the police academy. this case is not eligible for expungement.

A case cannot be dismissed once it has been adjudicated. You were found guilty and you cannot therefore have the case dismissed. You might be able to -- or might have been able to -- have the conviction expunged; that would be your only option, and you might be right that it is not eligible for expungement.
