Can we file bankruptcy to get out of our mobile home and try to buy a house?
Question Details:
We are 3 years into a 12 year contract buying a mobile home in a mobile home park. Our circumstances have changed, and we are always having trouble with water, water pressure, and mold. We have 2 children and want to buy a home for our family. Do we have any options to get out of here?

yes- that is a debt that would be dischargeable in a bankruptcy. you would lose the mobile home of course . the bankrptcy would also discharge credit cards, med bills anfd other unsecured debts. most people lose nothing when they file.
