Can my wife remove me from her insurance from work even though we are not legally seperated or divorced?

Question Details: I am classfied as SMI (severly mentally ill) so my meds are expensive.

Whether or not someone includes her spouse and/or dependent children on her health insurance at work is totally optional. So, yes, your wife can choose not to have money deducted from her pay to include you on her health insurance through her work.
