Can my previous boss appeal my unemployment award after he already agreed to me receiving the benefits?
Question Details:
My previous boss is now saying I quit after he let me go for lack of financial funds.
Anyone can appeal regardless of what they may have stated previously. However, it is a crime to provide false information to the unemployment commission or to lie under oath at the appeal hearing. Hopefully, the appeal referee will not base the decision on any false or fraudulent evidence.
