Can my name be removed from alawsuit regarding an accident in which I was not the driver but owned the car?
Question Details:
A friend was driving my car with no insurance. He then hit another car and was arrested for DUI. After being found guilty, he paid restitution for the damages. Now the insurance carrier of the other driver is suing me for medical expenses. My friend has agreed to pay for it in payments. Can I get my name off the judgement before it goes to court?
