Lawyers are not supposed to make false statements to their clients or misrepresent information to their clients. It sounds like you lawyer settled a cse from you and maybe misrepresenting the total amount of money that you are able to recover.  if this is the case, the lawyer is in a lot of trouble for this and should be reported to the CO. Bar Association for his conduct.  I suggest confronting the lawyer with this information and show him the two different dec pages and ask him why his dec page is different than the one that he is showing you.  Before having this conversation however, i sggest locating a new lawyer as this one cannot be trusted.  explain to the new lawyer that you will be firing this lawyer and that you want the file transferred to the new lawyer.  then call the current lawyer, show his the different dec pages and then tell him he is fired.  if you wnt to report him to the bar association, that is up to you.
