Can my ex-wife enter my home?

Question Details:

My ex and I were officially divorced 10 months ago by consent decree. Can my ex-wife enter my home which was our marital residence if the decree states, "Husband shall retain possession of the marital residence". She is still named on the note and the deed. I'm working on refinancing to remove her.

Technically no, she can not. If you were given exclusive occupancy of the house and even given the house in the divorce then no she really can not.  Change the locks.  You have every right to do so.  And do it now.   Tell her that if she continues to come to the house  or on the property you willcall the cops and have her arrested for trespassing.  And do it.  Good luck.
