Can my ex do this? What can I do legally?

Question Details:

When I was 19 I did personal videos with my ex-boyfriend. I regret it now, being I was 19 and naive. I'm 23 now. I still keep contact with him. Through texts messages we were talking and he brought up the videos. It led to him saying I should have *** with him to him to prevent him from showing the videos to people or posting them online. I lied and said I'll do it to buy time. I of course don't want to do it and Ifeel so horrible for even doing the videos in the first place. Is this blackmail? Sexual harassment? Can he post them online without my consent? Basically what can i do legally?

Yes, this is blackmail, and in your place, I'd consider taking that text message to the police.  Depending on the police department, you might have to put up with some sideways looks, but that should not stop you, considering that it would be worse for those videos to go public.

Those videos cannot be published, by posting on the internet or otherwise, without your written permission.
