Question: Divorce, Marriage, Alimony - Pennsylvania

Asked on 7/20/2009
Can my divorce be finalized without my ex-wife's signature?
My orginial paperwork was misplaced, so I had to get new paper work, now my ex-wife does not want to sign the new papers. I desire to remarry next year. I have been legally separtaed and divorced so I thought now for 3 years. We have no property together and we only have one child who is now 14 years old.

Hello, my name is Mark W. Adams, and I am a Family Law Attorney with over 15 years of experience. If you have service on your wife, it may be possible to finalize the divorce without her signature.

Please contact my office at (215) 592-0074, so that we may discuss this matter more in depth.  I need to know what type of divorce was filed and where the divorce was filed.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Mark W. Adams, Esquire-219 Race Street, Suite B, Philadelphia, PA  19106 (215) 592-0074
