Can I sell my California workers comp structured settlement for lump sum now?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  You need to first get approval from the court in your state.  most states have a process that you need to go through to get this done.  the stuctured settlement company you choose will assist you with this.  You should be able to sell the payments,  However, you should know that it is a bad idea to sell the payments as you are losing out on substantial funds.  Unless you are in a jam, it is not a good idea.
