Can I choose not to live with my mom?

Question Details:

My mom met this guy online last month. They met in person last Friday and got married that same day, behind my back. In the past, I was abused by moms ex-husband, and she promised me that who ever she married next, I'd have to approve of them. But she lied. I still don't know him; only talked to him for 2 minutes. My mom wants me and my sister to come to DE with him and his 6 kids. Can I just stay in GA with a friend or family member?

It's possible, although I don't want to get your hopes up.  Part of this is going to depend on how ole you are, and a responsible adult family member or family friend will have to be willing to go to court with you and tell the judge they'll take responsibility, if necessary.

If you have a job and you can support yourself, with a little help, it might be possible to have yourself declared emancipated, and that would solve your problem as well.
