Can I get my money back from a private dealer who sold me a faulty car that he told me was in great working condition?
Question Details: I purchased a vehicle from a private seller and less than 24 hours later the transmission blew out. From what mechanics have been telling me, transmissions do not just go out without warning. This has lead me to believe the seller knew there was a problem with the car but told me it was in great working condition. I have 2 young children (6 years; 7 months) and now I have no car and no money. I spent every penny I had on this car. I really need help on what to do.
