Can I get my criminal record cleared?

Question Details:

I have been in and out of jail since I was 12. I am 52 now. I have a lot of petty thief charges on my record from years of **** addiction. Is it to late to get my record cleared?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer to file an application for expungement.  this is a document that permits the parole board to erase the criminal record of people that are deserving.  given you age and good behavior, you sound like an excellent candidate.  Hire a lawyer to help you file this application.
