Can I get alimony
Question Details: I left my husband of 18.5 years, 2 years ago. He was verbally abusive all through the marriage. I couldnt take anymore. I have an active disability claim, and no income. Can he weasel out of paying me alimony? He feels since I left him I deserve nothing..Please advise asap. Thank you

Who was the major breadwinner in the marriage? What is the difference in income? How old is he? How old are you? What debt exists from the marriage? There are various issues that come into play.
