Can I get a patent on a product that has been in use until now for adults and i want to start producing it for kids?

Probably not. For an item to be patentable it must be novel and non-obvious. If the concept already exists for adults, and you're just doing the exact same thing for children, that doesn't sound novel or non-obvious, it sounds like an obvious copy.
